Product Overview
FlexPex PEX tubing is cross-linked polyethylene tubing for a wide range of residential and commercial plumbing applications. PEX Pipe is durable, flexible and corrosion resistant and has been manufactured without an oxygen barrier for potable water systems. In addition to Potable Water Supply FlexPex PEX meets UL Standard for Plastic Piping in Fire Systems. The easy to install tubing is able to fit push -to-connect fittings or barbed fittings.
Key Features:
- Strong, flexible, corrosion-resistant pipe
- Flexibility reduces number of fittings needed to complete a job; reducing cost and leak points
- Can be installed wet or dry for immediate pressure testing
- Listed to NSF 14 and CSA B137.5 for use in potable water systems
- Manufactured and tested to meet or exceed the requirements of the ASTM F-876/877/2023 and CSA B137.5

* Numbers are approximate as per ASTM requirements. Dimensional data is subject to manufacturing tolerances and may vary by brand. Same data applies both to oxygen barrier and non-barrier PEX.
Notes:
- PEX tubing sizes are denoted by CTS (copper tubing size), not OD (Outside Diameter) or ID (Inside Diameter).
- OD of PEX, copper and CPVC pipe with the same size (CTS) is the same. This is why push fittings can be used with all of these pipes.
- PEX made to US standards must comply with a SDR-9 (Standard Dimension Ratio), which is the ratio of OD (Outside Diameter) to pipe wall thickness (9:1). Exceptions are nominal sizes 1/2" and below.
